Zinc Sulfate Monohydrate (chemical formula: ZnSO4H2O)

Zinc sulfate is colorless or white rhombic crystal or powder at room temperature. It is astringent and soluble in water. The aqueous solution is acidic and slightly soluble in ethanol and glycerol. Pure zinc sulfate will not turn yellow in the air for a long time, and will become a white powder in dry air. Zinc sulfate is mainly used as raw material to prepare zinc compounds such as pigment Lithopyrite powder and Lithopyrite powder. When animals are deficient in zinc, it is also used as a nutrient, animal husbandry feed additive, and zinc fertilizer for crops. An important raw material of man-made fibers, used for electrolytic production of metal zinc electrolyte, mordant in the textile industry, medical emetics, astringents, fungicides, wood and leather preservatives, etc.
